Photographs consist largely of views of Helen Keller from childhood to old age engaged in many activities including reading braille, touching things, dancing, receiving awards, on foreign trips, and with pets. Also included are photographs of Keller's companions Polly Thomson and Anne Sullivan Macy; Macy's husband John Albert Macy; members of the Keller family including Helen Keller's parents Arthur Keller and Kate Keller; and Helen Keller with various friends and celebrities including Alexander Graham Bell, Charlie Chaplin, Jo Davidson, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Katharine Cornell, and others. Also included are photographs of Keller's houses in Tuscumbia, Ala. where whe spent her childhood, Westport, Conn., Wrentham, Mass., and other locations; sculptures of Keller, and her funeral.
